About AIRS

The Aurora Information Referral System (AIRS) mission is to streamline and expedite the process of connecting people with the resources and services they need in the Aurora and Fox Valley region. AIRS has the potential to create a holistic process that will increase agency capacity to serve and improve the quality of services received.

Whether an individual gained access to AIRS on their own, or through a service provider, the primary outcome is connecting them to all available services, regardless of what any single agency or organization can provide. For small or understaffed organizations, AIRS' centralized network of human services will be like having additional "Super" Case Managers. If a needed resource had not been previously identified, the AIRS Super Case Managers (personnel) will conduct research to locate appropriate resources and successfully connect the individual(s) to needed services. In turn, this will create and ensure fluidity in moving from points of service towards building self–sufficiency.
